Everything the robot does. Nothing the robot can do to your cat.

The Furtopia OneRoll is a semi-automatic cat litter box. Roll it over, roll it back, pull out the waste tray — a completely clean box in about ten seconds, with no scooping, no smell, and not a single motor, sensor, cord, or app between your cat and its litter box.

How it works

  1. Roll it over. As the box rotates, the inner sifting grill separates clumps from clean litter.
  2. Roll it back. Clean litter returns to the base; clumps drop into the pull-out waste tray.
  3. Slide the tray out and empty it. That is the entire job.

Why no motors? Because gravity has never malfunctioned.

Automatic litter boxes have been in the news for the worst possible reason: documented cases of cats trapped, injured, and killed when rotating drums moved with the cat inside and cheap sensors failed to stop them. The OneRoll takes the opposite path. Nothing moves unless your hands move it, so there is nothing that can move while your cat is inside. It doesn't need sensors to be safe or motors to be automatic — it uses gravity.

OneRoll vs everything else

Plain tray (₹500) OneRoll Budget automatic (₹8–15k) Premium robot (₹25k+)
Daily scooping By hand, twice a day No — one 10-second roll No No
Electricity / app needed No No Yes Yes
Can trap or injure a cat No No — physically impossible Documented incidents Rare (sensor-protected)
Smell control Poor Enclosed design Good Good
What happens if a sensor fails — There is no sensor to fail The reported danger Backup sensors

Why it costs ₹16,000

We'll be straight with you: this is not the cheapest way to stop scooping. The ₹8,000–15,000 automatic boxes are cheaper, and they are also the ones in the safety reports. We are not trying to undercut them.

What you are paying for is a machine with nothing in it that can fail. No motor that burns out in year three. No sensor that drifts out of calibration. No control board that dies after a power cut. No firmware, no app, no replacement parts, no service centre. The mechanism is a hinge and a grill — the kind of thing that either works forever or was never going to work at all.

A robot litter box is a purchase you make again in a few years. This is one you don't.

FAQ

Is it really no-touch?

You never touch litter or waste. You touch the outside of the box to roll it, and the tray handle to empty it. Ten seconds, hands stay clean.

How is this different from a ₹10,000 automatic litter box?

The automatic ones use a motorised rotating drum controlled by sensors — the exact design behind the reported injuries when sensors fail. The OneRoll gets the same clean-box result from the same rotation idea, but you provide the rotation, so it can never happen with your cat inside.

Why is it more expensive than those, then?

Because we are not competing with them on price — we think their price is exactly the problem. A ₹10,000 automatic box is cheap because the sensors are cheap, and the sensors are the only thing standing between a motor and your cat. We would rather sell you something with no motor and no sensors at all, built well enough to outlast the robot you didn't buy.

What litter should I use?

Any clumping litter. The grill sifts clumps; non-clumping litter won't separate properly.

What if it arrives damaged or my cat rejects it?

7-day replacement, no questions asked. And you have us directly on WhatsApp — a person, not a ticket queue.
